Hope you're doing well this morning. Encouragement is that no matter how we're doing that as we come here, we can be encouraged from God and from His word and from each other. So I know some of you may be hurting or have had a difficult week, but praise God that we have him and that we have each other. so let's, you can turn with me in your Bibles to First John chapter 4, verse 7.
And I'm going to go ahead and pray for our time together and then we'll dive in. Father, we thank you so much for your great love for us. what we just spent much of this morning singing about just the deep, deep love that you, Lord Jesus, you, Father, have for us. We give you thanks that your love is working in and through us and that you have ordained that not only would we be the recipients of love, but that we would be enabled by your power, through your Spirit to take that love and then love each other.
The way that you've loved us, Lord, help us to do that. That's what we're going to look at this morning in your word, Father, but we confess that we need your help. You're enabling In order to make that the reality of each one of our lives, just pray that your spirit would move in our hearts. And in this local body, So that we might glorify you.
