OK, we could find our way. Find our way back to our seats. In Psalm 134. It's one of the last psalms of ascent, so it's a song that people sang.
On their way to church, essentially as they were traveling to Jerusalem, but the psalmist says, behold how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity, and the unity he's talking about is the unity of worship. as pilgrims are, ascending to Jerusalem. for the worship of, of God, and I, I think we can all deliver that same exclamation, this morning after three months of absence. It really is a wonderful thing for us to, see each other.
putting a service like this on, under these circumstances requires a lot of thought and, and planning and work from a number of people and, as, we had planned on the service taking place on a Saturday night, which completely was a different configuration we would have been over there facing in a different direction. And Eric Cooper, our church administrator, had all of that beautifully sketched out and then we ended up changing our plans to this morning and we have the setup that we have, today, so we're thankful, so thankful for Eric Cooper's work as our church administrator and working, on this and all the members, of the technology and audio visual. ministries and safety team ushering ministry along with those involved with our facilities ministry and our communion ministry. This just involved, a lot of work and planning by a number of people in some cases, being very flexible and charting new ground and setting things up in a way that we've never, done before.
So can we just take a moment to express our appreciation to all those who. And I understand that there were 4 people or at least 4 vehicles that showed up last night for the service and my understanding is that you were gracious and said that you would be back this morning. So thank you for your grace toward us and just responding to this change of the timing of our service. there are a few things that I'm gonna miss about the way we've done things the last 12 weeks....
