Hey, this is our last class of the year. Isn't that crazy? Last week, Alvin Davis grilled up a great steak for us and then slowed it down a little bit to barbecue as he covered justification. it's just a great lesson, that shown us the difference between justification by the personal righteousness of Christ, by faith.
compared with Jesus cleans you up enough, cleans you up enough to enable you to perform the works of the law. so you can go back and listen to that if you were unable to check it out. It was great. Wanna give a shout out to all of our teachers this year, Carlos Slimtiaco, Jonathan Jones, Carlos Price, Alvin Davis, for just doing such a stellar job, all the way back to our survey of the cross and then living life backwards, Pilham's Progress, great lesson last week.
we're probably gonna do some grill and barbecue today too. So, Really appreciate those guys. today we're going to be concluding our survey of the Pilgrim's Progress as we follow Christian and hopeful across the river of death, and this is a lesson that I've been looking forward to all year. it's one of my favorite scenes in the book and in several movie versions.
We're titling this lesson, Will we be forsaken in Death. well, for a while, Christian thinks so, but we'll see what happens as we move through this section. Let's go ahead and pray and then we're gonna, jump right in. Lord, we thank you so much, for the opportunity for us to study this wonderful work this year that just reminds us of your faithfulness to your people and while all we like sheep have gone astray....
