And dear Heavenly Father, we come before your throne of grace this morning and we offer this day to you. And Lord, we offer ourselves to you as well. We acknowledge, Lord, the fact that we struggle this side of glory with the remnants of our indwelling sin. We acknowledge the fact, Lord, that inwardly we groan.
Lord, awaiting that day of our glorification. And yet, Lord, we are filled with hope because of Christ, because of who you are, Jesus and what you have done, because you took upon yourself the wrath. That we deserve, you were punished in our place, bruised for our crushed for our iniquity. Lord, we thank you, Lord, that there is nothing that can separate us from the love of Christ.
We thank you, Lord, that you who began the work will complete the work in our lives, and we thank you, Lord, that you lead us through valleys. You take us, Lord, into and through and out of the valleys that life has to offer. And along the way, Lord, you make us to become more and more like the Lord Jesus Christ. You grant to us wisdom and insight.
We thank you, Lord, that the work that has begun will come to completion and that Lord, we are in your grip in your hand, and there is no one. there is nothing that can snatch us out. We come to you, Lord, in the name of Jesus and in faith in Him alone. You alone are our rock....
