for the worship lyrics. but we are doing a verse by verse study through the book of Revelation, and as we continue in our study of this book, we come this morning to Revelation 19, verse 1. My goal this morning is to cover verses 1 through 10, and the title of the message this morning is a worship clinic on the cusp of Christ's Coming, a worship clinic on the cusp of Christ's coming. many times when you're watching.
A sporting event like a basketball game, for example, the network that is airing the game, will show replays of an important shot from various, angles, and this is especially true for something like the game winning shot at the buzzer. Not only will they show replays of the shot itself. But they will also show replays of the coaches reactions, along with the reaction of different players on both teams, showing the utter dismay of the defeated team and the unbridled joy of the team whose player made the game-winning shot. And that's a little bit of how it is in Revelation chapter 18 and in our passage today.
Last week we looked at Revelation 18, which is a vision of the future. When Babylon the Great, which represents the world system, is judged by God at the end of the age, just prior to when Christ returns from heaven to earth. But we also witnessed the response of the kings and the merchants of the earth to Babylon's fall. The kings of the earth weep and lament....
