Lord, we thank you for your kindness and goodness to us this day. Thank you for your many mercies, your grace on us who do not deserve anything. We've done nothing to deserve your grace, and yet you pour it out upon us. That's a great definition of grace.
We ask God that you'd fill us with your Spirit as we contemplate these chapters that deal with sin. And repentance and forgiveness open up our eyes to understand. Help us to see the lessons that you have for us. In Christ's name we pray.
