Lord, thank you so much for this time for us to study your word, to be together as the people of God on the Lord's day. Thank you, Lord, for those that are teaching our children right now. Fill them with your spirit. Fill us with your spirit as we just discussed the importance of your son's baptism and his temptation, how that relates to us.
And we just thank you, Lord, for all that you have provided for us and calling us yourself and providing for us, just our salvation. And thank you, Lord, for the freedom that we have in this country. We pray for Our friends all over the world. Christians all around the world that do not share such freedoms.
We even think of, some of our missionaries that we support around the world. That have different sufferings and challenges, we pray that you'd be with them. As well, in Christ's name we pray. Amen.
Alright, we are gonna be looking. At Matthew, and one of the questions we're going to be asking is, if Jesus was sinless, why did he get baptized? If you guys were here last week, you guys remember, there was a question about Jesus. he didn't follow his parents back home after the trip to Jerusalem....
