Lord, we thank you so much for your word that is just so amazing and as we look at this morning at your sovereignty, your omniscience, your care for your people, your judgment, we ask that you just open up our eyes to your word and illuminate it, help us to see. What you have for us this morning, bless are those that are teaching our children. We thank for your great love for us. In the name of Jesus, we pray.
Amen. So one of the questions that we're gonna try to answer this morning is, why do bad things sometimes happen to people who seek the Lord? It's not uncommon at all, and I'm sure you've run into this to talk to people in the church. Who clearly they've believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, they're seeking Him.
maybe they're, they're praying for a loved one who has gotten cancer. And they're crying out to the Lord to save them, to heal them. And then, my best friend, one of my best friends, Greg Lees. his wife contracted breast cancer, they were praying, they were seeing doctors, lots of different things, and she got cancer about the same time my wife got cancer and she passed away and my wife, survived.
why does that happen? Is it because we, we really sought the Lord with more faith? Then Greg and his wife Amy. I don't think so....
