, so let's go ahead and pray and then I'm gonna, kinda give you guys a little bit of an overview of what we're doing today and, and where we're going from here, but let's pray. Lord, thank you so much for this, this new season of Sunday school, both with adults and our young people. I pray that it be with all of our teachers today and all of the students. thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to study your word and study your word as families.
We ask you to fill us with your spirit and, guide us this year, and, we just thank you so much for your kindness and goodness to us each day in Christ's name we pray. Amen. So, if you don't, if you don't know me, my, my name is Mike Barry. I'm one of the pastors here at Cornerstone.
I've been a member of Cornerstone since 1993, I've been on staff since 1998. And, I met my wife here in 19993. Pastor Milton married us in 1995. And if you see some of those pictures, he looks like a teenager marrying another, like, I look like I'm in junior high.
And And so, yeah, we've been here for a while and the church sent me and my wife to seminary in '96, came back in '98 and finished up seminary from here. but we're very excited about this year. we'll be talking about this question a little bit later, how can God be both just and merciful? And let me just give you a little bit of an overview of what we're doing....
