Yeah, great to see all of you here, this morning. Let me invite you to turn in your Bibles to Genesis chapter 6. Genesis chapter 6, for our time of study in the word this morning. We're doing a verse by verse study through the Book of Genesis, and as we continue in our study of this book, we come this morning to Genesis chapter 6, verse 4, and, my goal this morning is to try to cover verses 4 through 8 after we do just a brief review of verses 1.
2 and, and 3. And if you want to give a title to the message, this morning, it would be Approaching destruction and Deliverance. Approaching destruction and deliverance. let me start off with this.
There's a TV show that I watch, from time to time on the Smithsonian Channel, called Air Disasters. How many of you have ever seen that? OK. I don't know why.
I, I'm riveted by that show. Every time I sit down to watch it, and each episode, they will start off by Telling the story of an airline crash using actual audio and images when that's available along with some degree of, of reenactment. but the most interesting thing that they do on this show that fascinates me is that once they chronicle the disaster itself, they talk about what investigators discovered about what contributed to The disaster and what they learned from that and then sometimes even changes that have been made to the airline industry to prevent such accidents from happening again. The show, just the times that I have watched it has made me appreciate the airline industry....
