I have For our time of study and the word this morning. For those of you that are visiting with us, we're doing a verse by verse study through the book of First Timothy. And as we continue in our study this morning, we come to First Timothy chapter 5 And verse 1, and my goal this morning is to cover verses 1 and 2. And the title of the message is being an instrument of change.
You want to be an instrument of change? I hope that you do. In fact, how many of people in this church that have a lot of changing to do? Raise your hand.
All right. How many of people in your care group that have a lot of changing to do? OK. How many of you are married to someone that, well, never mind.
Won't press that. No, if we're, if you're a part of the Church of Jesus Christ, then it's not long before you look around and see that, that people are growing and changing and that there's a lot of growing and changing that still needs to happen. And God actually calls you to be an instrument or an agent of change in their life. And the beauty of this passage, verses 1 and 2 is that, the Lord through Paul is going to show us a paradigm of how we can be an instrument of meaningful and genuine change in the lives of God's people....
