We're doing a verse by verse study through the Gospel of John and as we continue, in our series through this book. we come to John chapter 3 verse 22. And my goal this morning is to cover verses 32 or 22 through 30. Thus far, in John's Gospel, we have seen a growing number of people that are beginning to follow Jesus and the numbers are only going to grow greater.
Back in John 1, we saw two of John the Baptist's own disciples who left John the Baptist and began to follow Jesus and one of those two disciples. Of John the Baptist was Andrew, who went and found his brother Simon and brought him to Jesus. Then we learned about how Jesus found a guy named Philip, and then how Philip reached out to Nathaniel and gets him to become a follower after Jesus. We learned back in John 2:23.

And that's what we have been seeing thus far in. John chapter 3.

And that's a wonderful thing, right? Yet we will observe this morning that the men who are voicing this observation that all are coming to Jesus, are unhappy with this development. And guess who these men are....
