For our time of studying God's word this morning, I want to invite you to turn in your Bibles to Daniel chapter 2. Daniel chapter 2. We're doing a verse by verse study through the book of Daniel and as we continue in our study of this book, we come this morning to Daniel chapter 2, verse 24. And my goal this morning is to cover verses 24 through 49.
I don't know if you guys got a hard copy of the notes, but if you look on the back, that's what we're gonna cover today. That's a lot, but we're gonna get it done, Lord willing, and, and with his help, and the title of the message is Daniel Discloses the king's Dream. last week or two weeks ago, we saw how Daniel discerned, with God's help, the king's dream, and today, Daniel is going to disclose the dream and its interpretation to King Nebuchadnezzar. HG Wells, is a familiar name to, maybe some of you.
He was an English writer. who wrote many novels, and, and other writings. He died in 1946 after a prolific career. For most of his professional life, he was an idealist who dreamed of a better world that man would be able to achieve.
And his writings reflected this idealism. In his classic work entitled A Short History of the World. HG Wells wrote these optimistic words about mankind, and I want you to listen to these words carefully. He says, and I quote, can we doubt that presently our race will more than realize our boldest imaginations....
