Lord, We come Before your throne. Acknowledging, Lord, that you are the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Lord, we come before Your throne. With a degree of trembling in our hearts, for we realize, Lord, that In and of yourself, ourselves, we have no right to come before you.
We acknowledge the fact that it is only because of our great high priest. The Lord Jesus Christ. who laid down his life for us so that our sins would be atoned for and who dresses us in His righteousness. It's only because of Him and Him alone that we can come before you, but we do so with boldness, God.
We do so because we are a needy people. We need help. We need grace from you. We need for you, oh God, to complete the work that you have begun.
We need for you, Jesus, to be pleading our case before the Father and to intercede for us, we need for you, oh God, to reveal yourself to us so that we might see you. Upon your throne. In majesty and beauty. We pray, Lord, that as we take the time to look at your word that you would show yourself to us, reveal yourself to us through the pages of scripture, help us, Lord, to see you....
