Hey Hi Then Bye. OK OK Well, good evening. Want to extend a very warm welcome to, all of you on this, Good Friday, this Good Friday service. This is a service that provides an opportunity for us to step aside from our, schedules and from our routine and to remember, together in the company of one another, some very important events that took place, 200, years ago, in and around the area of Jerusalem, and it's on, this particular Friday that we, remember the crucifixion of Christ.
It was on this Friday of the year based on the lunar calendar, that Jesus, experience arrest and trial and ultimately, crucifixion, And, so this is a time where we come together to remember that. That's what we're going to be doing, tonight and celebrating communion and also reading, the communion narrative that is in the gospel accounts and also the crucifixion narrative that is in, largely, Gospel. we'll be doing that also. OK.
this is a service, that provides for us also an opportunity to celebrate our communion, not just with Christ, but also our communion with each other as brothers and sisters in the Lord and, to that effect, we're, we're really blessed to be able to have a joint service this evening, cornerstone congregation together with the evangelical Formosan Church, just, us together celebrating our communion with the Lord Jesus Christ and our oneness with one another. in Christ. And, I know that he's not going to like this, but I want to go ahead and introduce him to this congregation. I'm not going to embarrass him, but, EFC, has a new pastor, effective, February the first, Pastor Daniel Ming and his wife Stephanie.
why don't we have the two of you stand, OK. But let's just go to prayer and ask the Lord to guide our time tonight and to really open our hearts. Just, Lord, open our hearts. That's what we want to ask....
