, what a great blessing to, be able to come together on the Lord's Day. And to, to worship God by opening our hearts to Him. And also now by opening our ears to Him and allowing him to speak to us. It's an amazing thing that God would even speak to us.
We deserve for him to be silent towards us. And if he speaks at all, to speak judgment, but instead, God opens his heart to us and he speaks to us and it's words of grace, Amazing grace, words of salvation, words of blessing, and we get to hear those words from the God of the universe, this morning. let me invite you to turn in your Bibles to 1 Corinthians 9. 1 Corinthians chapter 9 for our time of study in the word this morning.
we're in the middle of a, like a five-week series on the journey from brokenness to, wholeness. And as we've been looking at the different points in the journey from brokenness to wholeness, we've been doing topical messages, on those themes. Today, it's somewhat of a topical message, but we're going to be spending our time in 1 Corinthians 9. most of the points that we need to make are found in 1 Corinthians 9:16 through 27.
And so if you want to give a title to the message, it would be Gospel Mission. Gospel mission. I thought about bringing a prop in, but didn't have time to do that. But if I, just for the sake of illustration, if I were to connect my fingers like this, in fact, do this....
