Let's go to the Lord in prayer and ask Him to help us to do this. Lord, this passage has some The difficulties in it and some of the things are hard to wrap our minds around, and I know that we have not mined everything in these verses that there really is to mine. But we do thank you for this text, and we thank you for what you have shown to us. Lord, there needs to be a gospel revolution in this body.
You've taken us so far. But Lord, I'm just realizing this is just the tip of the iceberg. There's so much further that we can go, and the explosive potential in our personal lives and our families, and our marriages, and in our ministry and our outreach and our evangelism and the impact of this church on the surrounding community. Lord, I, I feel it in my bones.
This place can absolutely explode. If we would just come alive with an awareness of this amazing thing called the gospel of what you have done for us, if we would just let that in and let ourselves see it, it would humble us, it would level us to the ground. And then it would exalt us like we've never been exalted before, through the power and through the blood of Jesus. And Lord, we would be in a position to where we would say to anyone trying to stop us, we cannot stop speaking.
What we have seen and what we have heard through Jesus. This is an insane message, Lord, compared to all the religions of the world, we have the best story. And it's true. This blows any other religion away, that we as sinners can bring our sinful selves to you, and just say, Lord, I cannot save myself....
