, well, for our time in the word this morning, we're very happy to have with us Mr. Moses Tay. We are during the month of December doing a series on the subject of investing for eternity, and I think the times in which we live call for, this particular emphasis and as, as a part of this series, I know like right now Randy Thompson is teaching a Sunday school class in the fellowship hall on biblical foundations for financial stewardship. In the second service, Tom Vesey is going to be teaching on the subject of how to manage your money.
It's basically the same lesson that he taught last week during the 1st service. So this is primarily for our first service people and we would encourage you to stick around for the second for this Sunday school class that starts at 10:30 on the subject of how to manage your money 101. We know that this class will be a great blessing to you. I was going through the material last Saturday at the office and we've got a lot.
Really great offerings for you this week in terms of teaching on this very important subject. So avail yourself to what's being offered, and I know that you'll be blessed, and it'll probably almost certainly save you a lot of heartache down the road. Anyway, Moses and Kathy Tay and their two boys are with us this morning. Moses and Kathy and their sons were a part of our church family for a number of years until just a few years ago they moved up to Crestline.
And during their time here at Cornerstone, they, made a huge impact upon, upon this church body, revolutionizing the Children's Church ministry, which they led, for a handful of years. And I would also say even the Care Group ministry that is now firmly in place here. in the fabric of our church, and I believe we started our care groups back in 2004, but Moses Tay was one of those individuals that was pretty influential. We as elders read a number of resources and books and consulted with individuals, and Moses was one of them, and the Lord really used the wisdom....
