I have the privilege and blessing to bring the word of God to us this morning. Pastor Milton is on vacation. He'll be on vacation for the next 3 weeks, or at least 2 now remaining. So he's, he and his family are enjoying a well-deserved, hard-earned vacation and, if you would, would you turn to Matthew chapter 6.
Matthew chapter 6, verse 19. That's where we're going to be this morning, actually for the next two weeks, we're going to be in Matthew, looking at the Sermon on the Mount and just a small section of that. And as you're turning to Matthew 6 to 19, let me pray for us in our time together. Father in heaven, I just thank you for this time and, just the time to gather in your presence to worship you, to give you thanks for who you are, Lord.
You are awesome. You are the King of Heaven. And Lord, we long for your kingdom to come. Lord, give us that vision.
Of your kingdom as we look at this passage this morning, help us to long to be people who are living for your kingdom, Lord. Bless us as we just immerse ourselves into your word, Lord, my prayer for all of us is that we would just take to heart the things that we hear this morning. Your word is powerful, Lord. I pray that it would have its way with our lives, and that it would bring about transformation in all of our hearts....
