Well, good morning to all of you. If you would turn with me in your Bibles to Matthew chapter 28, verse 16, we're gonna be looking at Matthew 28. verse 16. Let me pray as you turn there for our time together in the word.
Father, we just thank you so much for the privilege and the blessing that it is to be gathered this morning together in your name. With you present here among us and in us, we thank you for your work that you have begun in us that you will see to completion. We thank you that you are the author and perfecter of our faith, that you are our Lord and our Savior, that you are everything, Lord, you're our greatest treasure. And Lord, we long to become like you.
That's our goal, to be like Christ, our Lord. We pray that your word would do its work in us that through the powerful Transforming work of the gospel that we would be made more into the image of Christ. I pray that we would not just hear these words of Jesus this morning, but that we would long to do them and actually do them. Give us the grace and the strength to do that through your Spirit, we pray in Jesus' name.
Amen. We're continuing again, like Milton said, the winter seminar and the title of the message this morning is Making Disciples Together, fulfilling our mission and our greatest calling. And our text is Matthew 20, a familiar passage, I believe, to all of us, but hopefully this morning it will, I, I trust, come alive to you in a new way. let me start by saying this, one of us is a disciple of someone or something....
