Why don't you open up to the book of Joshua. Our men have been, actually our whole church has been reading, the book of Joshua this summer, for our summer advance. I hope you have enjoyed that reading. I think it'll finish up the schedule, this week.
when I was a child, one hot Bakersfield day, much like today, but with a bit of an oaky kick, my baby brother was taking a nap, but me and my two sisters got into trouble with our stepdad for a mysterious action. someone had put ground up hamburger in the soil of all the plants around our apartment. we denied it and we were sent to our room until someone could fess up. As we got into our room, we were like, did you do it?
Did you do it? And none of us did it. And so we sat around and we finally convinced Melissa, who would have been around 3 years old at the time, to go out and confess. And, but it seemed that she wasn't very convincing and she was quickly sent back to our room.
So then Michelle agreed to go out and make a five year old confession. And so you can see the pecking order and she was not confessing either or not convincing either. Finally I went out as the sacrificial lamb and to admit that it was me. However, my stepdad thought I was lying too and sent me back to my bedroom....
