And let me invite you to turn in your Bibles, this morning to Romans chapter 8. Romans chapter 8. We are Doing a verse by verse study through Romans 567 and 8. We're calling this a journey to the heart of the Gospel, and as we continue in our study of this section of Romans, we come this morning to Romans chapter 8, verse 1, and my goal this morning is to try to cover verses 1 through 3, but if the first service is any indication, I already know we will not be able to do a full treatment.
Of all these verses, especially verse 3, if you want to give a title to the message this morning, it would be No condemnation. No condemnation. I have some very good news for those of you that are believers in Jesus, and that is that there's no condemnation from God for you. And I have very good news for those of you that have not yet believed in Jesus.
And that is that this is fully available to you. If you would but humbly see your bankruptcy and inability to save yourself and come to Jesus by faith. This is a free offer. of what God is offering.
And for those of us that are believers, Paul is speaking to Christians when he asserts this in Romans 8:1. And that's where we're going to be focusing in this morning. this is one of the most remarkable, glorious statements in all of the Bible, and it is true, and it's true, for us, no condemnation. I don't know how many of you have heard of a guy named William Cooper....
