, it's my privilege here this morning to To stand in the shoes of Pastor Milton and deliver God's word to you. I would like to ask for you if you would join with me in a word of prayer, and ask the Lord to, to just bless, the preaching of his words here this morning. Dear Lord, we just come before Your throne of grace, and we wish to quiet our hearts in your presence this morning, Lord. Lord, we come to you.
With various burdens. Some of us, Lord, are Perhaps struggling in one way or another. And Lord, we need for you to reveal yourself to us. We need for you.
To be our comfort, to be our refuge, to be our high tower. We need for you to remind us afresh of the fact that you are our God. And in you, we can take refuge. Lord, we need to be captivated all over again by the wonder of your grace and by your sovereignty and power and might and goodness in our lives.
We pray, Lord, that you would reveal yourself to us through your word as it is preached this morning. And Lord, as we take some time to look at Ruth chapter 2 together. We ask Lord, That you would help us to glean from that chapter, the goods that you have in store for us. I ask Lord that you would go before me....
