Lord, I thank you for the Just the journey you've taken me through over the last few weeks, getting ready for this class. and Lord, I have a long, long way still to go. Lord, you've given us treasure, you've given us abundant treasure, and Lord, how we manage that has a lot to do with how we move from brokenness to wholeness. And I just pray today, Lord, that You would help us to wrap our minds around that and, and just to encourage each other.
and just grow in our love for you and our love for each other. I ask this in Jesus' name. Amen. All right, let me do a, before I, before I introduce myself and all that good stuff, let me do a, a couple of housekeeping items just really fast.
You should have a handout that has the course schedule and the overview. I forgot to put the course goals in there, so I'm gonna go over the course goals here in just a moment with you so you have that. you should have gotten an email if you actually, if you actually registered for the class, you got an email. The way the readings will be will be handled is there is a book for the class.
it's, called Your Money Counts by, by Howard Dayton, but, you can get, get to that book online for free if you want to read it digitally, which is the way I read everything I can possibly read. you can go buy it on Amazon and I will also be sending out PDFs of the chapters. I've already sent out the 1st 3 chapters which are very short, and I will be sending out, probably Monday or Tuesday of each week, what you will get from me is an email and it will have the notes from the past class. It will have the PowerPoint from the past class....
