Let me just pray for us as we begin. Lord, I just wanna echo the prayer that we just all prayed a few moments ago. Show us Christ. And speak to us this morning the words of eternal life.
We hear so many words, Lord. Hundreds of thousands of words probably this past week, but you have the words of eternal life and may those words from you come. Through me this morning. To all of our eternal spiritual benefit.
We ask these things in Jesus' name. Amen. Well, let me invite you to turn in your Bibles this morning to John chapter 6. And for those of you that are visiting with us today, we're doing a verse by verse study through the Gospel of John and as we continue in our study of this gospel, we come this morning to John chapter 6 verse 59.
And our goal this morning is to cover verses 59 through 71. and the title of the message is perspective on Jesus Hard words. Perspective on Jesus' hard words, and it's Jesus who's going to give us perspective on some of the hard words that he has already spoken earlier in John chapter 6.
