Yeah, well, great to see all of you here today and good to be back with you after. being away last week at the college, career retreat, got to hang out with, about just under 60 of our, young people, here at, at Cornerstone and work through Psalm 139, but, just a thank you to all of those who put together that retreat and for the way that you welcomed, my wife and I. how many of you were at the retreat? OK.
Just to let, I still have the band, OK? I'll be cutting it off today, but, this was to get into the dining room at the retreat. So every time I've seen this, this week, been thanking the Lord for you guys and the time that we were able to spend together last weekend. This is a wonderful ministry in our church and just some of the most exciting things that are happening, are happening in the lives of our, our young people who I know God is gonna use in a, in a great way and it was a blessing to be able to, be with them in the fellowship, together with them last weekend.
Well, let me invite you to turn in your Bibles to Genesis 2. We're going to be getting back today to our study of the Book of Genesis, and as we continue in our study of this book, we come to Genesis chapter 2, and, I would like for us to be looking at verses 10 through 17. And if you want to give a title to the message, it would be Pre-Fall Man. lovingly directed.
We're continuing to just get a A good glimpse, a good picture of man in his pre fall state and we're gonna see God providing, directions, for, Adam in our passage, today. Let me start with this. when I was a, a kid, probably about 8 or so years old, well, all the years I was growing up, our family would go to Amarillo, Texas to visit, my mom's parents and as kids, we loved being at our grandparents' house because there were tons of places to explore. And things to explore in, in their house....
