Well, I hope you all have been walking in God's grace, over this, this past week, and I hope the message this morning will, will be an aid to you in, in that endeavor. So I want to have you guys turn in your Bibles this morning to Romans chapter 5 for our time of study, in God's word, this morning. Romans chapter 5, we're going to be learning about a doctrine that is the doctrine of justification this morning. And I think we're even going to be talking about this next week as well.
And if you want to give a title to the message this morning, it would be reading you your rights. Reading you your rights. That's what I'm going to do this morning. And I know normally it's not a pleasant thing to have your rights read to you.
Normally in our culture, that means you did something wrong. It's not something to come home bragging about, like, hey, guess what kids? Daddy had a law enforcement officer read him his rights today. we wouldn't normally think of bragging, about that, but, this is a very positive, thing.
Something really good has happened to you and to me, to those of us in this room that have believed in Jesus for salvation, and that is that we have become justified. And, this morning, the way we're going to frame looking at Romans chapter 5, verses 1 and 2 is I basically have 6 rights that, that I want to read off to you this morning. But, first of all, let me just say a quick word about justification. Justification is a five-syllable word....
