Well, let me invite you to turn in your Bibles this morning to Galatians 6:4 Our time of study in the word today. For those of you that are visiting with us, we're doing a verse by verse study through the book of Galatians, and as we continue in our study of this book, we come this morning to Galatians chapter 6, verse 1. And my goal initially was to try to cover verses 1 through 2, but in the first service we didn't finish verse 1, so we're going to, I have no doubt, spend all of our time in verse 1 and probably not even be able to address the very end of verse 1. The topic of the message or the title of the message this morning is responding to sin in others.
Responding to sin in others, especially others here in the Cornerstone family. That's what we're going to focus on is how do you respond to sin in your brothers and sisters, in the Lord. And I know you're thinking, come on, Pastor Milton, give us something practical. this is Cornerstone.
No one sins here. But it may happen and you need to be ready. For when it does, no, if you've been a part of the Cornerstone family for any longer than probably 24 hours and have gotten to know, us, you, no doubt have experienced somebody sinning or sinning against you, and we're going to focus on how to respond to sin in other, people. in Galatians 5, what's interesting is Paul has taught us how to deal with sin in ourselves, right?
Right, we've got a sinful flesh inside of us that always wants to do the opposite of what God wants us to do, and here's how to deal with that. You walk in the Spirit. So we looked at what that means. But now in Galatians 6:1 and following, Paul is going to teach us how to deal with sin in other people....
