Well, it's my privilege to open up God's word to you this morning. I want to do that. if you want, a title of the sermon, it's Running the Race with Endurance. This morning, I want to look at how to run the Christian life all the way to the very end with endurance.
And, before we pray, I want to read our passage of scripture, if you would turn with me to Hebrews chapter 12, verse 1. We're gonna be looking at verses 1 to 3 of Hebrews chapter 12. Hebrews 12:1. Let me read them.
this morning to you. Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, laying aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, let us run with endurance, the race that is set before us. Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him.
who has endured such hostility by sinners against himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Let's pray. Father, I thank you for the opportunity to be here this morning with my brothers and sisters, opening up your word. Father, we, we need you to show up this morning to teach us, to guide us, to instruct us....
