Well, let me, invite you to turn in your Bibles to Genesis chapter 11 for our time of study in God's word, this morning. We're doing a verse by verse study, through the book of Genesis, and as we, continue in our study of this book, we come. this morning to chapter 11 of Genesis verse 1, and my goal this morning is to cover verses 1 through 9. 1 through 9, so fewer verses than we tried to cover last week.
And if you want to give a title to the message this morning, it would be Scattered by Languages. scattered by languages. how many of you, can speak more than one language? Raise your hand.
OK. I took French in high school, 2 years. And the two, I remember two things from that class after 2 years, how to say a word that my parents taught me not to say. And how to say, can you speak French?
So, but if you can speak more than one language, then your life has been impacted. By what happens in our passage, today. If you have ever experienced the frustration of trying to communicate with somebody who does not understand English, then your life has been affected by what happens in our passage, today. If you have ever had somebody try to communicate with you in a language that you did not understand and they were frustrated by that and you were frustrated by that, then you have been affected by what happens....
