Thank you for choosing to, worship with us. Today, for our time of study and God's word, this morning, I wanna invite you to turn in your Bibles to Deuteronomy. Our Deuteronomy, Genesis. Genesis chapter 26.
Genesis 26. We all have a variety of things that are going on in our lives right now, and this is just a time where, we're not just asking how does the Bible apply to me, but how does my life apply to the Bible. And where we lose ourselves in the story of the Bible and then ask how does my life apply to this and what is God saying to me through His word and this is one of those passages where we have opportunity to do that. If you wanna give a title to the message this morning, it would be the blessing that Prevails.
The blessing that prevails and we'll be looking at Genesis 26:15 to 33. this, this morning. A couple of weeks ago when we were in Genesis 26:1 through 14, we saw that one of the, the big themes of Genesis 26 is the theme of blessing. This is impossible to, to miss as you read through the length of this chapter.
Look at all the mentions of the word bless in this chapter. In verse 3, God says to Isaac, I will bless you. In verse 4, God says to Isaac, by your descendants, all the nations of the earth shall be blessed. In verse 12, the text says, the Lord blessed him....
