Giving us the word and preaching us, preaching to us, in the power of the Spirit. So why, why don't you guys welcome our own pastor, Milton Vincent. thanks, Mike. well, it's good to see all of you here today, and, hopefully, in fact, I am confident that your heart has been as blessed and lifted up by the worship as mine, has been.
Let me invite you guys to turn in your Bibles to, Actually, I'm not even sure where, John won. John won. And we are continuing in our series through, on the topic of a call to mercy, and, Lord willing, this may shift a little bit, but the plan is at this point for next Sunday to be the last, message on, this really critical, topic. This is the definition of mercy, compassionate ministry to those in dire need, and we're finding the Bible has much to To say about this subject. And last week, we looked at what James had to say. Today, it is my assignment to look at the call of John to mercy. And we'll be looking at John's writings as we find them in the New Testament.
Think about it. What, what books did John write? He wrote the Gospel of John, which coincidentally is named after him. 1 John, 2nd John, 3rd John, and he wrote one other book....
