But it's good to see all of you here today. I want to invite you to turn in your Bibles to Galatians chapter one. We just recently started a series of, verse by verse study series through the book of Galatians, and we've spent the last two Sundays introducing the book and just looking at some broad themes, in the book by way of introduction. And today, we are going to begin.
Our verse by verse study and after much thought, I decided that the best place to begin. would be in chapter one, verse one. And, we'll be, hopefully Lord willing, looking at verses 1 through 5 this morning and the title of the message is the contribution of Christ to our Salvation, the contribution of Christ to our salvation, and we get that, theme primarily in verses 34, and 5, which is where we're going to spend most of our time, but we will take a quick glance at verses 1 and 2. Looking at Paul's salutation at the beginning of this letter, the contribution of Christ to our salvation.
let me start this way. Back in 2003, there was a man in his twenties that started attending Cornerstone. He was not a believer. In fact, he was a pagan in the technical sense of the term.
He believed in being in tune with and harnessing the powers of nature. In fact, this guy was a witch. not a black witch but a white witch. His, his goal was to live in harmony with the powers of nature and to use those powers for the good of other people....
