Before we jump into the message, I wanna ask if you all would join with me in prayer, and let's ask that the Lord would meet us through His word this morning. Will you pray with me, please? Lord, we come before your throne of grace right now with boldness. Lord, and we do seek to quiet our hearts before you.
Lord, we come to you. As a needy people. A broken people, Lord, we come to you turning the page. On this last year.
Lord, I know that for some of us, it's been a tremendous year filled with much rejoicing. For others, Lord, there have been difficulties along the way. And yet, Lord, we affirm the fact that you are sovereign over all of these things. And we come before your throne of grace here today, Lord, anticipating the year that is before us.
And Lord, we want to surrender this year into your hands. We want to lay the year down at your feet, and Lord, we want to ask that in this year, That you would be glorified. We ask Lord that over the course of this year through the power of the gospel that Lord, you might enable us as your people collectively, Lord, to walk in a manner worthy of the calling. With which you have called us....
