Romans chapter 12 for our time of study in, in God's word. This morning we have done a study of Romans 5 through 8. Where we have taken a journey to the heart of the gospel, we've been studying the, all the facets of the glories that belong to us in Christ and in the gospel and having completed our study of those chapters, we're asking the question, what then shall we do? And we're compiling a list, we're making a list of all the answers to that question.
And we're gonna add to that list, this morning. We learned a few weeks ago, what should we do to, in response to the gospel and by way of unleashing the gospel in our lives, verse one, we need to worship God. Last week, we learned that we need to be transformed. And today, we're gonna learn another thing that we should do in response to the gospel and to unleash the gospel in our lives, and that is, think.
Think To allow our minds to be renewed. And so if you want to give a title to the message this morning, it would be Thinking that transforms. Thinking that transforms. Look what Paul says in Romans 12, beginning in verse 1.
He says, therefore, I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice acceptable to God, which is your spiritual or reasonable service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Paul gives us com a command, undergo a metamorphosis, be transformed. How many of you want to be transformed?...
