, let me invite you to go ahead and turn in your Bibles this morning to Luke chapter 5. Luke chapter. 5, and I, I do want to, strongly encourage you guys, to stick around after this service and to attend the, adult equiping school, seminar session that Mike Barry will be, teaching. There's a blue insert that's in your bulletin regarding, what, the basic tenor of the teaching is going to be, through the month of December, both from the pulpit and in our, breakout sessions.
And, as you look on the back of that, that insert, today, Downstairs, Mike Barry's going to be teaching on a biblical overview of the places of God's provision. What we're focusing on. is orienting ourselves towards the place of God's provision, whatever that may be, and just how to think about that and to learn some lessons from scripture that can help us at this pivotal time in our journey as a church. And I've gone through Mike Barry's PowerPoint and his notes and really wish I could be down there.

So, stick around after the, the service here, go downstairs to, the, the breakout session and, just be prepared to be blessed and have a tremendous amount to think about that will enrich your capacity to be a blessing to this church body, to your brothers and sisters at, at this point of our journey as, as a church. also, just want to let that, tonight, at 6 o'clock right here in this room is our special, business meeting. This is a memo from the, the elders, but in June of this year, we made the decision to begin the journey to the Bornes Technology Center. and with that decision we upped the, the investment of time and energy in searching out in greater detail what all the cost would be in making such a move and after finding out through the developments and discoveries that followed in the ensuing months, we elders a couple of weeks ago at our elders retreat had answers to. the important questions that we were asking and at our elders retreat on November 23rd, we reaffirmed, our decision to go to Bourne's, but we also decided at that retreat that we did not want to make that decision unilaterally, but we wanted to make it in community with you, the, the congregation, and so we called this special, business meeting and, For, tonight, and, we want to encourage you to be here tonight for this....
