If you could open up to Genesis chapter 5. We're gonna start off in Genesis chapter 5. I wanna give you guys a cry alert. I'm on low sleep.
I think I got about 3 hours last night, and this is a message that really touches my heart. So, If I start weeping, it's not you, it's me. All right. Genesis 5, starting in verse 1.
This is the book of the genealogy of Adam in the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. He created them, male and female, and blessed them and called them mankind and the, in the day they were created. Adam lived 130 years and got a son in his own likeness after his image and named him Seth. We see in these first three verses is Pastor Milton has covered them so well.
We see a couple of similar terms. One, we see that God created man in His likeness in verse 1 and then Adam has a son in his own likeness after his image. Part of what we can, infer from this passage is just as Adam and Eve were made in the likeness or the image of God, so Adam and Eve had children that were also made created in the image of God. and so, so on and so forth that every child that would be born to Adam and Eve and every child that they would have for the generations that would come forward would be made in the image of God....
