well, let me have you turn in your Bibles to 1 Timothy chapter 31 Timothy chapter 3. We're doing a verse by verse study through the book of First Timothy as we continue in our study of this book, we come, we came last week in First Timothy 3 where we began to talk about the subject of pastors and elders and overseers. And, Carlos did an excellent job. I've already listened to the message of handling verse one.
And, what I want to do today is not so much move into verse two, but I've got a bunch of introductory things to say that I think will help to set the stage for verses two and following as we get into the qualifications for, that of, elder or overseer. And let's see, do we get the slides up? the title of the message, if you want to give a title to it, is What Everyone Should Know about Pastors and pastoring, What Everyone Should Know about Pastors and pastoring. It's not everything you should know about pastors and pastoring, but the six things that we'll be looking at this morning are, things that we believe that every, every Christian who loves the Lord and is a part of the church should know.
