So it's very good to see. All of you here today on this first day of March, it's hard to believe we're In March already. let me invite you to turn your Bibles to First Timothy chapter. 2 First Timothy Chapter 2 for our time of study in the word.
this morning, we are, doing a verse by verse study through the book of First Timothy. And as we continue in our study of this book, we come this morning to 1 Timothy chapter 2, verse 12. And my goal this morning is to try to do justice to verses 12 through 14. And we're going to bump into verse 15, the very front end of it.
And then I believe Lord willing, next week I want to speak to the ladies a message entitled The Gospel Inheritance of Women. And we'll culminate that message next week in verse 15. but the title of the message this morning is What God Wants from the Women, Part 3. What God Wants from the Women, Part 3, and as we have been working through this section, we've been titling the message What God Wants from the Women, and this week I, felt a growing uneasiness with that title.
It's accurate enough. But the word from can maybe convey an unfortunate meaning. This isn't, this text is not so much what God wants from you ladies, like God wants to take something from you. As much as this text, reveals the heart of God for you....
