1 Timothy chapter 2. Man, I'm excited about the message today. 1 Timothy chapter 2, we're doing a verse by verse study through the book of 1 Timothy and as we continue in our study of this book, we come this morning to 1 Timothy chapter 2 verse 9. And my goal this morning is to cover verses 9 and 10, and the title of the message is what God wants from the Women.
Part one. What God wants from the women. Part one. Last week we looked at the subject of what God wants from the men.
And we thoroughly and utterly exhausted that topic. And so today we move on to the first part of a 34 message series. On what God wants from the women. Actually, it'll probably just be a two-parter.
So. What's happening in this section of First Timothy, as we began to see, last week, is that Paul tells us his purpose in chapter 3, verse 15, when he says, I write so that you will know how one ought to conduct himself in the household of God, which is the, the church. So he, he's saying, I, I, God has placed the church in the midst of a dark, sin. Broken world to make an impact upon, your society, even all the way up to your governing, leaders, and to glorify God, each local church....
