Mariner Alvin Davis burst onto the Seattle sports scene in 1984 and had one of the best seasons by a rookie in baseball history. Besides being named to the All-Star squad, Alvin was voted Rookie of the Year that season after batting 316 with 27 home runs and 116 runs batted in. Alvin's seven seasons here.
