Good morning. It sounds like I'm on, so I trust that you can hear me. I want to ask you to find a seat. I'm the guy that's pinch hitting for Pastor Milton.
This morning, typically between Pastor Mike or myself, one or the other of us will pinch hit for Milton about once a month. We appreciate Pastor Milton's ministry to us and we appreciate the opportunity to give him a little bit of a break. And so, Lord willing, as I pinch hit, I'll hit a home run instead of striking out on 3 looking. And so if you would join with me in prayer to guarantee that that won't happen, I would appreciate that.
Let's pray. dear Lord, we just come before you. This morning. We ask Lord that you would quiet our hearts before you.
We pray, Lord, that You would arrest our attention with thoughts of you. We pray, Father, that you might stir our affections towards you. That Lord, you would cause us to be reminded of how great you are, that you would help us to behold you in your holiness, in your perfection, in your greatness, Lord, that You would help us to realize that you are absolutely pure and spotless without stain or wrinkle. And that Lord, we would see that you are a God, who delights in us because of Christ....
