Yeah, well, let me invite you to turn in your Bibles this morning to Luke. Luke chapter one. Luke chapter 1 for our time of study and God's word this morning. Normally what we do for the Christmas service is, there are 4, major, passages that make up the Christmas narrative that we find in the gospel accounts, and we try to cycle through those, every 4 years, and today, we come to Luke chapter 1.
verse 26, and my goal today is to try to at least take some look at verses 26 through 56 today. And the title of the, message is from Perplexity to praise. From Perplexity, to praise. I'll start off with a confession this morning.
I am a sucker for heart stirring videos on the internet. I'm always watching them and always saying to my kids, hey, come watch this, and now they roll their eyes and that's. not as interested as I might be in seeing all these videos, but there's a lot of really great stuff to watch and be stirred by, and a few weeks ago, I saw a video of a woman in Illinois who was pulled over. By a local sheriff's officer, and the officer, having pulled her over, approached her car and asked her to step outside the vehicle.
she did, and he then asked her to stand behind her car facing towards her car. And the video footage that I was watching showed that the woman was clearly distressed. And miserable over having been pulled over by this officer. At that point, she would have said that her day was not going well at all....
