Let's pray together. Father, the longer that any of us are on this earth, the more we, Our lives can accurately be labeled just, A series of disappointments, Especially in ourselves. We have proven that we are indeed in need of great redemption. Healing and forgiveness.
And there is no enterprise that we are engaged in that surfaces this anymore than being a mother and a father to our children. Help us as parents, To Embrace your forgiveness, to embrace your perspective. To thank you for your sovereignty in the ways that now we see that you've even used our children to surface things in us. And to grow us, The stings that we feel are, are good.
Faithful are the wounds of our heavenly friend. But as we embrace your grace, we humble ourselves habitually before our children whenever we wrong them, and then walk in that grace, Lord, may we progress and may our progress be evident. To all Bless The mothers and the fathers that are here. And may their hearts be lifted up, Lord, by your love and your grace, and may that make them a better parent today.
