Ask the Lord to bless our time in His word. I always feel the pressure of preaching in front of God's people, like. having to go up to, to home plate and swing the bat when it's like the bottom of the ninth with bases loaded and my team is losing by 2 and oh, just, it's pressure. So, let's join with me in prayer and let's ask the Lord to bless this time.
Lord, we just come before you once again. And we ask that you would quiet our hearts before you. We ask that as we Look at your word and read your word and hear your word that you might minister your word. Effectively and relevantly to us.
I pray, Lord, that If there is Anything that needs to be done by way of action in response to your word, that you would work that into the hearts of your people here. I pray, Father, that You would grip us with the reality of your presence, that you would grip us with the reality of who you are. Your greatness, Your Majesty, your kingship. That Lord, you would illumine the eyes of our understanding, to, to see you ministering to us through your word....
