Father, make us champions for you. Whatever we're resolving to do at this moment, help us to carry through. On how you've touched our hearts. Help us to live lives this week of victory and of usefulness for you, a life of conquest in the name of Jesus.
Prepare our hearts for this coming Easter, even for Good Friday. The Good Friday service is celebrating your death and then the Easter service, Lord, and then use us to reach people this week and to bring them in so that they can sit under the sound of the gospel. Be preparing the hearts of unsafe people that will be here next week, Lord. That you would be bringing situations into their life, thoughts into their minds, surfacing needs and their consciousness to where their hearts are being readied, the soil is being tilled so that gospel seed can be planted and their hearts would be receptive, and that fruit would be born and fruit would remain and help us each to do our part through prayer and through fighting.
To help serve these purposes. We ask all these things, Lord, in the name of Jesus, and all God's people said, Well, let me have you guys turn in your Bibles to Ephesians chapter 6. Ephesians 6, for our time in the word, we continue to worship God by listening to him as he speaks. We do not just worship Him through song and when we speak to Him, but we also worship by listening.
To him, we're doing a verse by verse study through the book of Ephesians. And as we continue in our study of this book, we come this morning to Ephesians chapter 6, verse, we're going to be picking up some loose ends from verse 16, and then we'll be moving into, to verse 17 this morning.
