It's great to see all that wonderful fellowship going on out there. But I have a very important announcement I'd like to make to you this morning. our ministry of the week this week is our child abuse prevention seminar, which is coming up on Friday, June 15th at 6:30. It'll be held here.
It is free and we're inviting all of our families here at Cornerstone to attend. this seminar is held by Camp Allendale. if you've never heard of Camp Allendale before, they're a Christian camp that ministers the gospel of Jesus to abused children and children that need the healing touch of our Savior. But they're going to be giving some guidelines, to families, some things that you can use to help protect your children from abuse.
this is gonna be a, a seminar that will include, group discussions. it will cover topics such as how to respond to the abused, and it will also help you to train your children to detect dangerous situations and to be able to give them guidelines that will keep them safe and that won't frighten them. So what I'd like to do is just invite you and I'd also like to encourage you to take one of these brochures. They're gonna be on the table outside when we leave and I'd like to challenge you, each family to invite 5 more families, personally invite them, so I don't necessarily wanna put these out on cars or mailboxes....
