Lord, we do come before you this morning. And Lord, it is our, our intent on opening up the bread of life. We ask Lord that you would reveal yourself to us as we gaze upon the pages of your word. We pray, Father, that You would illumine the eyes of our understanding.
that you would grant to us a spirit of wisdom and of revelation and the true knowledge of yourself, that through your word, Lord, you might strengthen us with might by your spirit in our inner man, that Christ you would be the one indwelling our hearts through faith. We pray, Father, that you would give to us new insights, that Lord you would speak to us in such a way so as to affect transformation, that you would transform the way we think, that you would transform the way we feel, even that you would transform the things that we do, that you would Help us to gain a perspective that you want us to have that perhaps some of us have not had before. We pray, Father, that as we break open your word that you would in fact speak to us, that you would sanctify us, that Lord, you would speak. And Lord, we just wanna commit the time that we have to you.
We pray these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. I wanna begin this morning by asking a few questions. These questions are designed to prime the pump, if you will, to get you, thinking in a certain direction and so bear with me as I ask some of these questions of you.
