Lord, we come to you, this morning confessing our need and our hunger. Our thirst, the deep thirst of our soul. We may think we thirst for other things, but ultimately, Lord, at the bottom of every thirst is a thirst that only you can satisfy. We are hungry for you.
We are hungry. And thirsty for the true and the living God. And I pray that if there are any who are here this morning who came into this room, hungry and thirsty that they would come to realize that it is you that they thirst for. And that they would see you.
More clearly and more beautifully than they ever have. Help us, Lord, to behold wonderful things from your word as we look at this morning and help me to be a, a, a good servant to my brothers and sisters and to all who are here. Lord, as I serve them with the word of life, your holy and precious word. And I ask these things, Lord, in the name of Jesus, and all God's people said, Amen.
Well, this morning I, I, want to continue with the theme that we had started actually a month ago, 4 Sundays ago, we looked at 7 all expressions that are in the New Testament. And these expressions that we looked at are the expressions all together, all grace, all prayer, all diligence, all the more, all the nations and all to the glory of God. And my sermon today was the sermon that I was preparing to preach the following Sunday until our plans changed with the news of the passing. of Donna's father in Indiana....
