I trust that you all had a merry Christmas. I trust that Christmas was a blessing to you. What a blessing to remember, right? That 2000 years ago, Jesus came, he lived a perfect life.
He died on the cross for our sins, and then he was raised bodily from the dead. And he ascended onto the right hand of the Father. Right now he is alive, he is well, and he intercedes for us, even as I talk right now. I hope I don't kick that water over.
If I do, that's OK cause I'll water the tree. But, but Jesus is the greatest gift of all, and if you are here with us this morning and if you have never opened up the gift of Jesus by faith, I do encourage you to do that today. On another note, guys, you will be encouraged to know that last Sunday's gift for Jesus was over $16,000. It probably goes without saying that our missionaries, Jim and Alethia Lossing will be greatly blessed, and they will put that money to good use as they continue to minister in Peru.
And so thank you guys so much for your Generosity. I know that when I was watching everyone come forward, including one of my kids, it was just overwhelming to see this massive amount of people coming to give gifts to Christ and what a blessing to know that we are able to bless the lost things out there in Peru. I'm gonna ask you to join with me in prayer. Let's take a moment here to pray before we get into the message for today....
